Completed 90 years of Radio Broadcasting.

Radio broadcasting of our country complete 90 years successfully .First radio broadcast went on the air from Bombay station on July 23 1927 under a private company,The Indian Broadcasting Company.
According to an agreement 23 July 1927 The Indian Broadcasting Company LTD was authorised to operate two radio stations.The Bombay station and Kolkata station on 23rd July and 26th August of 1927 respectively.

Later, Government took over broadcasting facilities on May 1932 permanently and renamed to All India Radio in June 8 1936.After the independence of India AIR had only six of their nine .Lahore, Peshawar and Karachi of the nine stations was fell in the partition of Pakistan.

*On 3rd October 1957 Vividh Bharati service was launched.
*In 1959 television broadcasting was started in Delhi by AIR .but it splits off from the AIR as Doordarshan in 1st of April 1976.

Uttar Pradesh Solar Policy 2017

To meet the demand of increasing  energy supply of the state ,the state government of UP is committed to use different sources of energy.According to this policy the UP Government proposed to meet the target of generating 10700MW solar power.This project includes 4,300 MW from rooftop solar project by the March of 2022 Objectives :- *To encourage the participation of Private Sector and provide investment opportunities to setup solar power projects in the state UP. *To support in providing environment friendly and affordable power to all. *To promote Research and Development , innovation and skill development in the State. *To achieve its target of 8% Solar Renewable Purchase Obligation by 2022. Under the proposed policy,the government will setup solar parks with a minimum capacity of 100 MW.The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited or the distribution licensee,will offer to purchase 100 % of the power generated through this project.
